The F word. FEAR can be one of our biggest blockers to developing learning and growing, second to that is failure.

Often when we are in a state of fear, we don’t see opportunities or recognise the fact we that change can lead to greater choices.

Many times during our life we are faced with circumstances that require us to change our lifes. Sometimes it is our choice and sometimes it is circumstances that we feel may be beyond our control.

When these situations occur and we feel it is beyond our control, it can feel exceptionally uncomfortable, upsetting and difficult to comprehend.

We have probably built a life for ourselves that we had once planned, to create security and stability for ourselves and we are faced with a situation such as:

A relationship ending and one partner chooses to leave.

You have been in your workplace for several years and find yourself being made redundant.

You have faced a loss of a loved one

You have been diagnosed with an illness that will mean you have to think about your life differently.

All of these circumstances, in essence can make you feel lost and uncertain about where your life is heading.

It can also be extremely traumatic and stressful, and the uncertainty we now face causes us to feel FEAR of that change.

We may find we have had dreams that we have never followed and we feel unsatisfied with life as it is. But our fear of change blocks us from changing our circumstances.

Change can be a very positive thing, but fear can block us from creating the life we truly want.

When we find ourselves in these kind of situations outlined above, these can invoke feelings of fear.

Fear of being on your own, or fear of potentially not meeting someone else.

Fear of finding a new job and fear of doing well in your next job.

Fear of what others will think.

Fear will also keep us in a place of not fulfilling our dreams. Such as:

We always wanted to have our own business but fear blocked us.

We wanted to get a promotion at work but fear blocked us.

We wanted to go to an amazing place in the world, but fear blocked us.

There are many examples of where we wanted to fulfil our dreams, but our fear gets in the way of achieving those desires and ambitions.

We are here to live our life’s to experience joy and love, but we also at times have experiences where we will feel loss and grief.

Breathing -Meditation can help by learning to breath and relax.

Exercise – Whilst you may not feel like it, exercise can raise the endorphins in your brain. This will help.

Get outside in nature – Nature is good for our souls and can help us reset and rebalance.

Gratitude – Keeping a gratitude journal is an excellent way to help you write down what you are grateful for and also you can write down your feelings. In relation to negative thoughts try and think of a positive.

Self care – Take time out for you, put some candles in your bathroom and have a relaxing bath or attend a spa day. –

Nutrition – Nutrition is so important to keeping us on track.

Listen to music, this can also help you relax.

Don’t beat yourself up. At times in our life’s we are faced with challenging situations and in circumstances such as job loss or , can often lose our confidence and self-worth which, can create further stress and anxiety.

Keep in touch with friends. They can often be a great support.

Managing fear and embracing change will help you do the things in life you have always dreamt of.

Winter Solstice

Happy Winter Solstice from all of us at Crystal Heart Psychics.

22nd December 2019 is the shortest day of the year, this is when the sun moves south to the Tropic of Capricorn and the shortest day arrives in the Northern Hemisphere.

The winter solstice is where the balance between dark and light changes, the sun begins to return promises of a new life, new growth and we look forward to brighter days ahead.

In the dark times, it is time to reflect and take stock and learn from our past.

For anyone on their spiritual journey, the two practices that can make a huge difference in our life’s is gratitude and forgiveness.

When we offer forgiveness we do not carry bitterness inside and by doing this we can release negative emotions so we do not go forward with bitterness in our heart.

By being grateful it means we feel a warmth inside and regardless of where we are in our life’s showing gratitude we move forward with a positive attitude.

Winter solstice is when the sun changes course and beings to move in a new direction, This is a perfect time for us to thing about our future and what direction would we like our life to be. Simply with the return of the sun we are looking for the new light to come in.

Self acceptance and loving yourself

Every relationship you have in your life starts with yourself first. We have to love ourselves first in order to maintain healthy relationships with others.

Often we become so focused on what others are doing, we forget about what makes us happy and forgetting about ourselves and what makes others happy. We neglect our own needs and in turn become unhappy.

There is an old cliché “how can you expect others to love you when you cannot love yourself first”.

Our society today, teaches us to be modest when thinking about ourselves and this can be perceived as being selfish but the truth is when you are not there to look after you, who else is going to look after you.

Loving ourselves if you are not used to doing this can be hard to learn, but with practice it does get easier inside.

The positives of loving yourself, brings in also self acceptance and due to this we also establish healthy boundaries and being able to choose the people we want in our life’s.

Here are some simple steps to help you love yourself.

1)  When you wake up in the morning and look in the mirror look at the person smiling back and you and tell yourself what you like about you.

2)  Taking care of yourself, these are simple things like practice self care, getting enough food, sleep and exercise so you have enough energy to carry out your daily duties and by doing all of these things, you will be more productive and more satisfied at the end of the day, as you have achieved all you want to achieve.

3)  Focus on your own goals, there is no point looking toward other people and think they are doing more things than you, having a nice time than you. This can lead to negative emotions and we are then not focused on our own goals.

Take time out for yourself

Many people like to have company and prefer to be surrounded by other’s. Spending time alone can be good for you, as it enables you to be happy in your own company.

Again if you like you, others will like you to.

Spending time alone, could mean having a nice relaxing time in the bath, meditation, relaxing on the sofa reading a book. This is taking time out for you and helping you to relax.

What is an aura

An aura is the bio magnetic energy field that surrounds the human body sometimes known as the Human Energy Field. Every living thing in the Universe has an aura. (Humans, Animals, Plants) and often it is called chi, prana or simply life force.

The human energy field is made up of a collection of electro magnetic energies that have varying densities and colour.

This energy field is what others connect with and psychics work with. Often described as the vibe someone is giving. An example of this would be if someone is going through a difficult time and putting a brave face on everything, you would still instinctively know that a person felt down.

It has also been scientifically proven that if someone is feeling low within themselves then it has an impact of friends around, some people describe this as draining.

This is all related to the aura.

WHAT DOES AN AURA CONSIST OF?
An Aura is made up of several layers (known as Auric bodies/subtle bodies/energy bodies) and each one of these bodies exist as an energy field around the physical body. What do the Colours in a persons Aura stand for.

However the colours of our aura represent our core personalities and if we are born with particular skills and abilities , the colour that represents these will also be present.

Dark Colours
Dark colours can be indicators of blocked energy centres (chakras) within the body and can show where there is physical injury or discomfort.

Gray can also indicate a blocked energy field, which can relate to physical and emotional problems.

Silver is often known as the colour of abundance. If shiny and bright, it indicates you have great physical and spiritual wealth.

White – Crown Chakra
White is pure and represents on a healing level a person who works with the light. Purple – Third Eye
